Back Pain - An Overview

Back pain is a common complaint among the people. It can affect people of any age, it is more common among adults.

Risk factors of back pain are :

  • Smoking
  • Physical exercise(if not done properly)

Back pain occurs at any part of the back but commonly affects the lower back.

Problem with muscles, ligaments, tendons, disks and bones of human back will lead to back pain.


Treatment of the back pain depends on patient history and severity of the pain. For reduce the back pain allows injured tissue that will help to relieve lower back pain. Rest can reduce the strain of the muscles of spinal cord. Heat or ice packs can help for relieve most types of back pain by reducing inflammation. Most of the severe back pain are treated by using proper medications.
